Any thoughts as to what this cable is for?

We just collected our 2019 T6 California Ocean last weekend.

While have a good look around, I found a long cable that is attached below the passenger seat, and wondered if this was a standard item, or if it was an extra that the previous owners added?

Does anyone recognise what this cable might be, or what it might be for?

Thanks

Pat

Does it look like the image below? I believe it might be a Anderson PowerPole (APP/HPP) plug. Used perhaps for a mobile solar panel. Or for a fridge. Theres both horizontal and vertical versions of this type of plug. See the information below. I found the information here by doing a reverse image search on the image you provided.

Here's an older thread of a forum user using these plugs to hook up a fridge directly to the leisure battery if I am not mistaken.

Seems logical that you found it under the passenger seat as the leisure battery is there in a RHD vehicle I believe?

That looks like the plug (the one I have does have a letter A on each socket). I may have a look under the seat to see if I can remove it for now.
Thanks.

It could be that someone (like I have done) has installed a solar charge regulator on the leisure battery under the passenger seat. They have left the cable and you just need a panel with the type of connector

Ah... good point. We were thinking we might add some sort of solar charging in the future, so if I see a charge regulator when I look under the seat (hopefully at the weekend), that might be good news.
