We've got your order email

I ordered a new California Ocean on the 29th of February and received a 'We've got your order' email from VW UK on the 29th of March.

Based on recent orders/collections, how far in the order process have others received this email?

Do you get other emails to confirm the start of the build etc?

Hi

We ordered last Tuesday and received the ‘we’ve got your order’ email on the same day as you. That sounds like it may be a once a month process and probably doesn’t have much bearing on where your vehicle is in the build queue(?). I was told by the dealer that current lead time is approx 3 months.

I'm getting 2 weekly video messages from the sales person updating me on progress where my Cali is in the system which is great.

BTW was Today the last day to be able to currently order a newT6.1 Cali and many decades of heritage come to an end as we currently know it at 6pm this evening when dealers close their doors and their order books?

We ordered on 22/1 and received confirmation from VW on 29/1. It's now built and at UKPORT so hopefully not long until at dealer. All quicker than expected.
