Volkswagen Break Down Service - Continent

Hello,

There are only 10x 0r 11x weeks left before we start our tour on the continent. We plan to visit the following countries:

• France
• Germany
• Czechia
• Slovakia
• Romania
• Bulgaria
• Turkey
• Greece
• Albania
• Montenegro
• Bosnia
• Croatia
• Italy

It will be again a long trip (I guess 12,000 to 14,000 km) and of course the GC will go for a service beforehand. But in case there is an issue, I would like to raise the question for the community if somebody used the VW Break Down Service?

If yes (first of all I am sorry that you needed to make the experience) what was your experience? Where they quick (good) to respond? Was the person looking after your camper expedierende and could solve the issue? Did they bring you to the next VW dealer?

I never could find any good information about the VW Break Down Cover, so if someone has a URL for me to read up that would be great.

I will look after an alternative also (AA), because my Camper Insurance Cover won't cover a lot of those countries we want to visit.

But, it is me, I am not sure what to do with this Information. I am not sure that a UK company will accept me (ROI) as a customer.

I thought about the original VW Break Down Cover. It is part of the service that we get with the Californias. I spoke to my VW dealer to get more information, but that was not successful.

By the way, I just got feedback from my car insurance company. I am not insured for Turkey and Albania. If we not get a different, short term, insurance we have to change our travel plans.

I think you can get insurance at the boarders, other people might have more accurate info
