Coastal Campsites

Hi,
Having had our new California Ocean since November we have a never ending vision of finding the perfect coastal campsite. We travelled to Glenbrittle in Skye a few years ago (in our previous VW Transporter conversion), managed to survive the chaos and grabbed a space closest to the beach. It was amazing and looking for similar sites (maybe not so chaotic though) in the UK. All we ask is a clean toilet and shower from a campsite. Have any of you found great places you would recommend (preferably with photo)? Sorry if previous similar posts - could not find one.

Although a Camping and Caravanning Club site, the site at Rosemarkie is excellent.
Right on the beach overlooking the Moray Firth, good loos and showers, brilliant sunsets and the best spot in the UK for watching dolphins from the shore.
Within half an hour of both Inverness and a distillery, what is not to like.
The staff are unusually chilled for a club site, I can highly recommend it for a couple or three nights.

I'm not from the UK, so I do not have many suggestions, but find below a photo of one of the spots we enjoyed most during our UK trip. It's Fidden Farm on the isle of Mull.

That is one of my favourite campsites too. I woke up early one morning and watched an otter swimming. Highland cows roam the site as well.

And sheep! Woke me up one morning because they had surrounded the Cali. For us city folk, quite the enjoyable experience.

Fiamma awning baseplates which i bought for the Westfalia club city joker pictured but work equally well with the Thule omnistor awning on my current Cali Ocean. Partnered with the tie down straps it is safe to keep the awning up in anything up to a force 5/6 - each base plate takes 4 pegs.

Yes - and showers. These were quite a walkback to the farm but we also had a handy portaloo very close to our pitch - check out https://fiddenfarm.co.uk/
