These came with my cali ocean but I don’t know how they fit. I am probably being silly. Can anyone help please.

Open the two sliding glass windows on the side of your California. These nets then clip in to the open space, giving you fresh air with bugs filtered out!
Note these are not thief secure!

Thanks I’ll try again. They don’t seem to be a great fit I maybe doing it wrong.

Does anybody know if you can add these to a van that was ordered without them?

I totally failed to affix them last year and didn't even try this, maybe its a Sam thing ‍♀️ Im going to be approaching wise looking folks at buzzfest for a quick tutorial

The T6.1 screens are slightly different. You could order through your Dealership as a Dealer fit Option or there are 3rd Party versions.

Open the side window at least halfway. Slide the screen in from the rear between the fixed glass and sliding window with the Label on the Front leading edge . Push it forward to engage the slot with the tabs at the front. You can then slide the window forward or backwards to enlarge the opening covered by the mesh. You cannot lock the window closed.

Thanks for the info everybody. I think I’ll get the Jerba midge one once my van arrives.

They do come up for sale on here once in a while. Buying from VW will be expensive. That's is a part number on the pic earlier.

These are mosquito proof but not midge proof.
Jerba ones get my vote.

We’ve been wondering about the screens for a month and a half - got them with the van, tried once, gave up as we weren’t headed anywhere we’d really need them. But will now have another go…

You can stick Midge netting to these to make the midge proof, essential for Scottish trips in the Midge season.
