KTM 690. Just as good, half the price.

I have a Duke 790. A lot of great qualities, but the build quality is a bit lacking. Shame they’re not built in Austria.

That said, BMW often score lowest in reliability surveys.

The Aprilia Tuareg 660 is worthy of a look too. I owned an 05 Aprilia Tuono Factory which was a great piece of kit.

Where is the Duke made these days then? BMW aren't brilliant like you say, I've got a mate with one and for such a young bike it's not great. I'll still with my VFR.

I’ve got two supermotos, 690 and 500. I love them.
It would be good to compare the Duke? The KTM kind of only has one setting, flat out. It’s not good in town/traffic.
Could be tempted if it’s half as good.

Well that’s started a great convo which wasn’t intended on my part.

There’s only one way to decide if a Ducati is for you and better than others…..come and have a look! We’ve got great bikes and a cafe

Watch the YouTube reviews on the Hyper Mono 698!

On thin ice here. Be careful

Lol.....yes we will be good and sorry! My fault not the OP's

The Buzz is a good company vehicle.

No worries. Since you are new here I was unsure if you were aware of the rules.

And yes the Buzz is an ideal advertising vehicle in both senses. I see a few around Hannover where they are manufactured.

Agree I bought a ID3 back in 2020 for my company (not telling you what I do!) and it was good talking point back then. 30months / 53k miles later VW wanted too much for the Buzz so I bought a Volvo to replace it.

I don't think motorcycle manufacturers have to peddle their products like cars do; my experience is bikes sell themselves and most bikers will arrive at what they want without the help of any sales patter.

It would need to be quite a bit better. For me, the KaTooM flatters. The handling is sublime. I’ve never had a bike that gives so much confidence. I can just chuck it into any corner and give it the beans. Never has it surprised me on done anything unexpected. Price is key also. Base model Duke is still £3k more.

Duke is a nice looking bike fo sho.
I’ll deffo take one out for a test.

I'm going to avoid ...... its a bit like chocolate. If I don't go into the shop I cant buy.

I bought a 2016 Africa Twin last October. Could have bought a new one but this came with £4k of aftermarket goodies for off roading, and much cheaper to insure than the CRF1100. Plus I'm going to drop it sooner or later.

After saying all that I've just realized this morning I've spent nearly another 3k on it. A nice set of Haan Excel wheels (had to be done) , Zumo XT, Enduristan luggage, Dunlop Raids , and re-upholstery on my Rally seat to increase the height.....
