Table leg...

So I picked my new (to me) Cali up at the weekend...
On the whole I'm pretty impressed. Until I realised that when I lift the interior table up, the leg just falls down. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to have an end on it that locks it up. This is all I have on there!

Anyone know where I can get a new leg-end from? I have searched online but because I don't know what it's called, I've had a hard time locating one!

@Santa79 if you have all the parts - see @Dr-Snickers post above ie the red bit clicks in on at the end of the table leg with a little spring. We lost ours and used one out of a bic pen to replace it.

I saw this earlier. I think £65 is taking the wee wee a bit for a table leg when all I want is the little end cap haha

I have the red button and everything in tact, it's just the end cap that I'm missing... It's just one more on the list of disappointments you find when buying a second hand camper I guess

I think I would try and fabricate something given what the leg costs

Check under the seats and possibly inside the seat rails. Run a thin screwdriver up and down the runners in case it has dropped inside. If it is there then easily removed via the rail end section being removed.

Could it be 3d printed? My van is at the doctor's at the moment so can't check but might be worth a try.

Does anyone have one loose that they can photograph and accurately measure?

Sorry...I didn't realise you had the other bits. Hope you find it somewhere in the van.

There are some good second hand parts people on eBay for the Cali...might be worth giving them a call if nothing listed.

More importantly when you put it all back together I think you’ll find there’s a small grub screw that stops it all coming out at the bottom of the leg on the side facing the front of the van. Probably costs less than 1p.

That's a very good point. My brother has a 3d printer as his new toy... that's a very good call!

it's the design that's the hard part. If I had accurate measurements I might be able to knock something up for him to print unless he is up for the design challenge. I did a replacement clip for the door wiring bundle and a cap to replace the missing arm rest on my 5th seat (I stole the armrest and put it on the driver's seat!)
