How do I know if I have traffic sign recognition?

Hi

I’ve just bought a used T6.1 Ocean and am looking at the Brandrup Isolite Extreme windscreen covers in the club shop.

There are 2 options, one for the Drop-Shaped mirror base without traffic sign recognition and one for the Trapezium mirror base with traffic sign recognition.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but which do I have?

The massive lump above the rear view mirror is a camera that points out the windscreen and does a myriad of things, including traffic sign recognition. If you pop outside and have a look you will see the camera. If you have it enabled it’s pretty obvious - it will recognise traffic signs and display them in the dash unit. Either way, what it’s actually talking about is the camera unit, which you have. I don’t know the cover but if it’s an interior one it will have that part cut out to fit. Exterior does not matter and will cover the full screen.

You’ve got the forward camera in that assembly behind the rear view mirror. We bought the Isolite internal screen cover from the club shop, except there was a labelling error and we at first were given the cover for the screen without a camera - it didn’t fit of course. It was soon rectified. I don’t understand why there are two option for the external screen cover though?
