Came across this portable vacuum on a Facebook advert. Wireless vacuum

I wouldn’t normally be tempted by these type of adverts but this does look like it would be handy as it’s a blower as well as a vacuum and it’s smaller than most. Just wondered if anyones actually bought one of these and if it lasted more than 5 minutes.

I seem to get similar pop ups on Facebook. On the rare occasions that I'm tempted to look closely at the product it's always been available for substantially less £ on amazon or similar.

Can recommend one of these + the car attachment kit; can usually find a better price if you shop around:

Thanks, I've actually got the Gtech hand held vac as part of a set when I purchased the floor vac. I don't use is apart from occasionally bits in the car when the Dyson battery dies, as I don't really like it.

That cheapo wireless vac appealed as its also got the blower and thought it might be useful to keep in the Cali (when it arrives).

We have a Shark handheld cordless which is brilliant - we paid £50 about 18 months ago but unfortunately the price seems to have rocketed since. That apart, it’s compact , works great and lasts up to 30 mins when fully charged.

Can anyone recommend a wet/dry vacuum

I recently purchased a DeWalt wet and dry vacuum cleaner which runs on both their 18v batteries and a 240v plug. Very useful for the Cali when we come back from a trip but quite bulky to take along! https://www.dewalt.co.uk/product/dcv584l-gb/18v-xr-acdc-l-class-wet-dry-vacuum?tid=580671
Echoing the quite bulky, we take our cordless V8 Dyson pet specific ‘hoover’ away with us for longer trips, complete with the smaller powered brush attachment and a couple of tools. It’s the only thing that really clears up the ‘Van properly, especially as we’ve a Retriever who’s coat successfully harvests in & off her coat the entire time adding a generous dusting of fur.
That said, as it’s our old one, the battery life is very poor, we have solar so we’re not on EHU, so later on in the trip I used a folded up absorbent type pet towel and our mini dustpan & brush hoping for a bit of a fur harvest before giving it a quick once over with the Dyson and it really worked a treat.
I’m always secretly pleased when I get a double use out of an item for the ‘Van.

We take with us the Bosch 20v Handheld rechargeable BHN20L
It holds the charge well- battery probably lasts about an hour fully charged, but when we are at a site with electric we will charge it up. It has good suction that works well on all the dog hair that our fuzzy friend sheds. It came with a crevice attachment which is perfect for getting in all the nooks and crannies in the van. It helps us keep the van tidy when traveling.

When we get home we use a Karcher shop vacuum when we do our deep clean.
