Its all quite simple.
the goodies are trying to find the baddies but the baddies are hiding in with the goodies but the goodies are onto the baddies but the baddies know that the goodies know that the baddies are in league with some of the goodies and so the goodies are getting crap from the higher up goodies who might be baddies and they are sending more baddies to upset the lower down goodies but they might be goodies in disguise...See simples

And just to add a bit of confusion there are some bad goodies, and some good baddies. Then there are those that you thought were goodies that are actually baddies, and those that you have been led to believe are baddies that are undercover goodies.

Its quite simple really just don't doze off halfway through an episode or you won't remember who is on which side.

I’m thinking of setting up a whiteboard with all the goodies, baddies, bad goodies and just a bit naughty goodies. Might help

Brilliant show, some excellent writing and the facial expressions of DS Carmichael are priceless.
We’ve watched all previous series a number of times looking for clues. Do you remember DS Ian Buckells was in series one, golfing with Tommy Hunter!!
 
I can't see how Kate can be the one who got shot? Why would they make such a big deal out of her carrying a gun if she was just going to get shot. My money is on the wee Scotch bird with a secret gun. (or should that be written "bud"?)

I enjoyed reading my book with a glass of wine. This having cleaned out the camper after our first 3 nights away.
