And here it is…

Yahooooooooooooooooooooooooooo  :thumb:bananadance2

I ended up with mine through exactly the same route - and like you it’s grown on me. Really looks better when it’s as shiny as yours :)

Enjoy!

I picked it up today. Ocean 150 PS, Mojave Beige. Excellent pickup from Manchester VWCV - my 2.5 page checklist all ticked off okay. Enjoying playing with all it has and starting to set it up
What was your checklist? Could I have a copy? I'm looking at a Mojave Beige Cali.

Happy to share. But I need to DM you with it. However, there are a number of downloa checklists on this forum which are very similar to what I used.

@ParachuteMan whom did you get insured with? I'm in Manchester as well. Just got an initial quote of £2500. Seems excessively steep to me. I am in M19.

That colour looks great, but I don’t think VW do themselves any favours by describing it as beige though - to me it a more of a warm grey, “sunset grey” or to that effect. When someone says beige in the context of vehicles I immediately think of an Austin Princess or any other similar vintage BL vehicles!

Hi. Blimey ….I used AIB. https://www.aib-insurance.co.uk/. £450. LV= was £480. As you know, It all depends on postcode, mileage etc. We have a WA postcode and I used 8,000 miles as annual mileage, knowing I can bump that up a bit if nec.
