Can I "childlock" the front passenger door?

I have read the manual and to me it's as clear as mud.
Add to that the threads about the locks and it seems that there numerous permutations available.
What I want to do is ensure that the front seat passenger can't open their door from the inside.
Child locks are identified on the sliding door and tailgate, but not on the passenger door.
If my reading of the manual is correct, I can deadlock all of the doors except the driver's door, which would do, but is there any other way?

If you enabled drive away locking the passenger would need to pull the handle twice to actually open it, but that’s the best you can do.

My understanding is that a deadlock stops the door being opened from either the outside or the inside (so if a potential thief broke a window, they could not use the internal handle to open the door) whereas a child lock simply stops the (unlocked) door from being opened from the inside (a bit like the rear seats of police cars) but they can still be opened from the outside.

It would help if you explained a bit more what you are trying to achieve? Is this for a child sitting in the front passenger seat whilst driving or some other scenario? As deadlocking is not available whilst driving.

@Loz I want to prevent a front seat passenger opening the door from the inside whether the vehicle is stationary or moving.

Simple answer is you can't.

There is no way of deadlocking the van whilst the engine is running.

Only suggestion other than removing the internal door handle would be to put a sheet of hardboard or the like between the seat & the internal door panel so that the handle cannot be accessed.

We had a situation when driving an elderly relative with dementia from Ashbourne to South London where we wanted to lock the front passenger door. The best we could do was the two pulls lock or seat the passenger in the rear. In fact we seated him in the front and all was fine.

One of the better thought out improvements on the T6.1 is that you cant unlock the sliding door by pulling the handle twice. Instead there is button on the drivers door that operates a child lock independently of the other doors.

physically push down the lock knob on the passenger door?
would then require the 2 pulls to open it.

The situation described by @Amarillo, but on a more frequent basis.
The passenger sometimes decides, quite unpredictably, to leave the vehicle, moving or stationary in traffic. It is not always possible for them to be placed in the rear seat.

In that case I would be looking to bend up a bit of aluminium sheet to sit on top of the door panel & tuck into the door pocket to cover the handle completely.
