Does anyone know if you can park up overnight in the Brittany Ferry check-in area for an early morning departure?

I think there’s an area just off the check in lanes that you can overnight in. If I recall it’s detailed on the Portsmouth Ferry Port website.
Alternatively Port Solent allow overnight parking, so long as you check in via phone.

We always stay at Port Solent: less than 10mins drive to the port with loos and plenty of restaurants if needed. The car park outside David Lloyd is the flattest. Call 023 9221 0606 when you arrive.

We did it one had to be awake before 6am as check-in starts,
from Brittany ferry website

"OTHER PARKING OPPORTUNITIES

For early morning sailings, you can park your caravan or motorhome in the check-in lanes after midnight. Your vehicle is parked at your own risk and should not be left unattended. No port facilities are open overnight.
You can find cheaper parking at the Market Way car park, (£10.00 per 24 hours). There are also other cheaper options through en.parkopedia.co.uk or justpark.com. Brittany Ferries' customers receive an exclusive 10% discount on their parking with JustPark by entering the discount code 'BRITTANYFERRIES' at the checkout."

Looks like you can park from 10pm if you use the hard standing…

Motorhome and caravan parking

There is limited parking for these vehicles prior to early morning sailings, on the hard standing in front of the multi-storey car park. Vehicles are permitted to park along the yellow fenceline after 10pm when the last sailing has embarked. Please ensure you adhere to these parking places at the correct times and alert Security in the terminal that you are there. You are required to stay with your vehicle at all times.I

You can at Poole but not sure about Portsmouth? We overnighted at the Portsmouth Truckstop last year. Secure site with full facilities and a great cafe. Reasonable cost.

I was in Port Solent earlier this week and there were a lot of camper vans parked up for the night.
Port Solent has a range of eateries and there is a small grocery shop as well.

Just before you get to Port Solent there is a Tesco Extra store plus a range of other eateries.

So plenty of choices.
