sems to be that...

Yep! That's it, but for the life of me I can't see how or where it fits relative to the battery. Presumably the previous owner didn't know either. It's a very expensive piece of plastic that doesn't seem to be that vital given it's just been lying in the battery compartment.. Maybe I'll just put it back where I found it.

Having just completed wiring in a pair of Lazer lamps I had to remove that part to enable cables to be fed through to the battery Area.
On the left of the battery there is an upright shield made up of two or three plastic like plates which connect buy sliding in groves of each other.
Attached on the end nearest the rads and lights is your part at right angles which seems to close off the area to stop any weather/crap coming into the area behind the lights.
if you are still unsure I will try and take a picture over the weekend.

hope this helps.

Shad - a question on LazerLamps. You have a high spec T6 from what I can tell (204). Do you have OEM LED headlights? do the LazerLamps make much of an additional improvement, or do they get lost in the uberness of the OEM ones?

I can answer that. I have a T6 with factory LED's (very good) and the Lazer Lamps. The Lazer Lamps are fantastic and make a huge difference both in reach and coverage. I have the clip on amber lens covers too which is great in fog/rain/snow.

Thanks. Yes it does. If it's fine tomorrow I'll have a look.
Hi, I hope you have managed to discover its location. I have a T6 but I don’t think there would be much difference.
pic shows the part. To instal you would need to undo the plastic screw at top front.IMG_1102.jpeg
Good luck.

Hi Camperfam,
Re the Lazers. My 204 is not such a hi spec, thinking it would be similar to your wagon maybe.
My lights are H7’s (not LEDs) I had upgraded the bulbs to 150% brighter types and lighting was not too bad. Wintertime at times I found them lacking. So I chose to add lazer elites to the grills. A simple(but not cheap!) effective upgrade.
I have wired via main beam with an additional isolation switch on dash.
They really are an effective upgrade that turns night into a very very bright day.
