Leisure batteries not fully charging - Ocean T6.1 2022

Hi, cannot seem to find this issue appearing in the various threads. We have an Ocean T6.1 with about 1500 miles on the clock... We only seem to be able to charge the leisure batteries to c. 75%. Following a 2 hour run yesterday (with the max charge button activated + fridge off) the impact on recharging the batteries was negligible... we still ended up with it sitting at about 75% (see pic attached) .
Manual simply seems to suggest running with the max charge, but this appears not to be sufficient - any suggestions?

The onboard charging system has a mind of its own. I can sometimes get it to illuminate all cells but most of the time 2 of the cells remain greyed out. The only way to reliably get the batteries to a 100% charge state is EHU either to mains or a portable power pack plugged into the EHU socket.
 
There seems to be a lot of complex maths going on in the background for battery charging that take into account loads of different parameters.

Seems a lot of people raise similar questions and try to overthink or outthink the engineering going on in the background. I think if we did not have a solar panel basically trickle charging the leisures all day we would have the same. Ours rarely are anything less than 100%.

I try not to sweat it, but if you were about to try and be off EHU without moving for a few days (3+) then I can see the worry. If not, you have plenty of battery and will probably find over time the system will compensate with it's charging patterns.

Will beep if we see you.. would not normally worry, but off to a festival for 5 nights (no charge points) and would love to have the fridge for as long as possible...

Just charge from your wall socket - buy the EHU to 3 pin connector. We heading to Wilderness so glad of the solar panel for the 4 nights there.

Perfect... off to Latitude on Wednesday... may just be able to get it in time... BTW which solar panel have you got? works OK? permenantly installed ? Looks like that may be a good festival option. Thanks

You could always freeze some bottles of water and put them at the bottom of the fridge. That could help you to last 5 nights away.

there is definitely something wrong with your controller and /or battery charging circuit.75% charged according to blue segments and only 20 minutes left when discharging -1A? What does it show when you are driving: there should be a positive charging current visible , if batteries empty somthing like >+20A.

Actually will be freezing 2* 2l milk in plastic cartons!

Check your cube fuse on the top of the +ve rear cupboard battery terminal.
