Has anyone driven the length of the D918/618 in the Pyrenees in their van? Looking for a guide as to how long it took.

I cycled it once. 9 days it took. 790 Km and 28 cols. As we went over each col we tried to Anglicise the name, for example, Col Budincurutcheta became “The Col of the Burning Crotch”. You can use your imagination to think how we translated Col Bagargui!

I reckon you could drive it fairly comfortably in two days but why not take it easy and do it in five?

Took us 9 days to do half of it, but that was in a Toyota landcruiser driving it the slow way on a many unpaved roads and tracks as possible in remote areas. Superb trip.

You could also consider the N260 on the Spanish side. One way on the French side, back on the Spanish side?
