As quite a few new Cali’s have been coming through lately and to all new owners that have picked up in the last 3 months, please don’t forget to consider taking out the FACTORY extended warranty! Gives peace of mind for 5 years.

From that table. Does it mean you can extended warranty by 3 years now? I thought it was only 2 years extension. Now I’m confused.

extension 3 years/100,000km Eur670+vat

As mentioned on another thread, the base Ocean has a cheaper entry price here than the equivalent UK model, but has fewer baubles as a result. No idea why, and the guarantee thing just doesn’t make sense.

My recent Ocean order came with 4 free services, 4 year warranty and road side assistance. Assuming taking this extended warranty only extends it for a year. If that's the case is it worth the cost for the extra year.

Do you get extended vw road side assist with that deal?

We have the same offer on our yet to arrive Cali. I’ve asked the dealer a few times about extending to 5 years but haven’t got a clear answer.

Willl be interested to hear if you find out how to get the 5th year and at what cost…

You can pay £329 for 3 yr UNLIMITED MILEAGE from new.

Or
2 yr 80k on top of standard 3yr £399

Or
2yr 150k on top of standard 3yr £549

I have 4 year standard vw warranty and also decided to get 5th and 6th year extended warranty for 800 eur.
