I thought I had joined this years ago when we bought our California.
We have found the site quite difficult to use, particularly as we now, 8 years later, want to sell our California.
Maybe we are old fashioned, I have only been using computers for fairly complicated programs for 20 odd years, but we still like to use a phone and speak to a human being.
And on reading some of the letters posted on your site about selling a Cali, so would quite a lot of others!

All very well, but what point are you trying to make? Your rant is rather vague and angry :eek:
 
I honestly don't understand the purpose of your message. Why wait 8 years and the sale of your California, to say that you find this site difficult to use. Especially since today you seem to be succeeding.
Many of us also like to talk rather than write, but when it was just the telephone, forums like this couldn't exist. And as far as I'm concerned, I don't find the use of this forum complicated, no more or less than the average use of the internet.
 
So you believe you joined 8 years ago, but regardless you didn't use it for 8 years , now re-registering to say you didn't use it and certainly not using it in the future either as you are now selling your California. Ok, so probably this website wasn't your cup of tea, no harm done.
 
Sorry had you been drinking when you posted, because your message doesn't come over very clearly?
Have another go at explaining your problem again. Someone will help. We're a very friendly helpful lot, honest!

I notice that you are a free member, not a paying VIP member, and thus you don't have access to posting ads. It's kind of like not paying for a subscription to the New York Times, and then complaining that you can't do the daily crossword puzzle online.

I don’t have a clue what you were trying to say.
 
I do hope the OP returns and expands on their original post.

Maybe admin could pull out some figures on “one post members” and the number of replies generated. Free VIP membership for the winner?
 
Haha, there's nothing like walking in to a room with a hand grenade, taking out the pin, and just leaving the grenade there whilst you leave the room....... and wait ......:D:D:D
 
I had a quick google of Carol Golder & Twickenham, to see if there was similar forum activity elsewhere. Not the result I was expecting tbh :)

Dear Elon, try as I might, with my broad experience of complicated calculators and photocopiers, I cannot fathom for the life of me where the telephone option is on your tweeter thingy. Many of us still prefer to hear a kindly voice….
