Best small van with a fixed toliet?

I hope this question is suitable to post, I thought forum members would have a wealth of experience they might be able to share.
I love a Cali - I think it is probably the best camper there is, however as time goes on I am probably going to need a fixed toliet especially for those night time visitations (or even when parked up in the day).
I don’t feel that a shower is a necessity.
Preferably 5.4m length could push to 6m.
I know that this has probably been asked before but there may be new options on the market? Thank you!

You are in the same market as me Looking.
If you look for the variation of a Cali then the Ford Nugget wil be the next option.
Or you will be shopping for bigger and more expensive Moterhomes
 
Westfalia Kepler One? keeps the lower roof line. 5.4m. on VW base. If there are just 2 of you you can leave downstairs as living space and upstairs as bed. Has a toilet and wet area but not a separate washroom so you keep some luggage space.
Or the Nugget plus.
 
If it should be -approximately- the size and genre of your cali: Stylevan Durban or westfalia Kepler one. Ford nugget could also do.
Few years ago I hesitated for a while between the California T6.1 Coast (which we now have and are very happy with) and the Westfalia Kepler Six or Stylevan Melbourne (I don't need a permanent toilet).
Everyone has their own choices and needs, of course. Have fun searching and choosing!

Also the Club Joker, if you don’t mind the fixed high roof and LWB.
 
An other option is the (again) Ford Copa. The 500 is without and the 530 is with toilet. Looks like a nugget but is a but different.
The kepler is an very nice option aswel. But not cheap either. But hey. When you are looking for a van like these, none of them are.
 
We looked at this companies conversions before deciding on a Cali and they do a model with a

They do very high quality conversions. We visited the factory and were impressed. In the end since we were new to camper vanning and were not surd what we wanted so played safe with an ocean.

That was my tought aswel.
We rented one for a week and travled through normandy. It suted us very well but we struggeled with the clothing and rearanging all the time. Also the sitting down when cooking is not for us. Next timz we book a nugget to test.
 
We don't sit down to cook in ours!

Almost every morning of our travels, we make toast and brunch, this is often very extensive and is for us no problem at all in a cali. As a tradition, we eat spaghetti one evening of every trip: no problem to prepare either; we also have emergency food: cans of ravioli and cheese and Tabasco ;) Sometimes we also make diner, but gradually we started eating out rather than cooking ourselves: local, tasty and often cheap. We find this more fun than cooking yourself (unless what I described above). Everyone has their own choice of course.

I really wanted a fixed loo myself and the Club Joker City was top of my list, but they're over 85k new for the spec I wanted against a Cali which was 72k with discount with a 204 bhp engine over the 150 bhp available in the Westfalia and similar spec. A new full Club Joker is now over £100k which is insane money imho.

I did consider the Nugget Plus but most of the reviews says the build quality just isn't there like that of the VW.

I am always perplexed by the need for a fixed toilet in small camper vans, unless said toilet is enclosed in a large private space the only real advantage is the larger capacity of the reservoir.
The portable toilet can of course also be used in a separate tent or the awning "if necessary".
As ever whatever floats your boat.

Keppler One. VW long wheelbase, pop top, toilet etc.

The Autohaus Camelot comes as LWB or SWB with high roof or pop top. Engine size or DSG or not depends on what sort of base van one orders.
