Filling up twice

Does anyone else get pi$$ed off with “pay-at-pump” limiting you to £99 a time?

£99 got me 53.25 litres today: under two thirds of a full tank!
Sad reality is that the pre-authorisation limits need to be updated to reflect 2022 prices

Some places have already increased it Tesco is now apparently £120 I’ve never found it that much of a problem to do the 20 Second walk into the shop & pay for a full tank. After all, you’ve probably got a good idea as to how much it’s going to be before you start filling.

20 seconds? Stood Behind all the bellends doing their weekly shop in there

Where I live the garage is full of scrotes in flip flops buying red bull

I nearly always fill up at Sainsburys, We also use a nectar card at Salisbury , for each other financial product you have via them they double the points you get. We have life insurance, house insurance and pet insurance, by Xmas we normally end up with about £1k of nectar points & with doubling up offers on wine etc it usually gives us enough bottles to last through January.

It was Tesco where I was filling up. Our Skoda’s tank is 30L of petrol so about £50.

Amarillo 80L of diesel so up to £150.

You’d have thought that it would only be a line or two of software coding to ask the customer: “How much do you want to pre-authorise?
1. £50
2. £100
3. £150
4. £200

That way @flying banana could avoid the flip-flop scrotes queuing for Red Bull and @GrannyJen could avoid her bellends because they’d give up trying how to work the pump.

I've actually seen a bare foot scrote in there too.

Never had the issue but I dont use supermarket garages

Shell don’t have limits.

No they won't ...

They would be looking for the slot to place the chosen amount of money in .....

On a different topic ... My sister was collecting me from Campersales last week, 25 miles away. She was in our Cupra. I pressed a few buttons and noted that we were less than "half full":...

"Do you want me to stop for fuel ?" she asked ....

I know that driving an EV can take a little bit of getting used to .....

Apparently supermarket fuel could be the reason the EGR valve disintegrates.

I said Could, I have read reports somewhere on here.
