Wrong country flag next to my user name

Hello, I just noticed that there is a USA flag next to my username in the forum (as per the picture). Does anyone know how to change this? It should be New Zealand. Thank you.

Try removing Wellington from your location and see if if updates. :thumb

Could be a bug ...

I believe it works on your IP address, so if you are using a VPN it comes up with some strange locations.

Depends on the IP address provided by your Broadband supplier.

Correct. I use a VPN when away from home and can dial in any flag by selecting the server location and hence IP address and Country that I want to appear to be located in via the VPN

What is slightly of more interest is why some of the posters in this thread have no flag at all. Even when my IP address is hidden and tracking limited (via phone settings) the VPN set up it still shows a country flag based on the Country where the VPN server is located.

How are you “Stateless” members doing this?

Just go to your profile to change it.

I think the flag doesn’t show for non-VIP members either.
