Hi just brought a new Cally, after saving for ages. Absolutely love it! looking forward to getting out and about in in.

There is a setting for auto wiper in the menu, the stalk doesn't seem to have an auto mode on it. Do i take it that the auto is only for the rear window wiper when reversing? And the auto front wipers are an extra?

Welcome, and you are Correct.
Auto wipers are an option and there would be a windscreen sensor near the mirror.

Great thanks thats that sorted. now all i ned to do is figure out how you can play music from an SD card when there are no slots available!

Which van model and variety do you have @Fordiesdocamping ?

SD card slot in my standard 6.1 Coast head unit, which I use all the time. Which vehicle do you have?

How is your experience with usb key?
When I plug it in, it works great, but after I turn the engine off and on again, the radio starts to reboot itself over and over again, until I remove the usb key.. I can reconnect it immediately and it will again work fine, until I turn the engine off again.

I have a standard radio, fwiw.

I have a Discover Media, works with no issues, continues playing from where it left off. I don't know if your system allows software updates over USB but there needs to be absolutely nothing on the stick apart from the music, if it finds something that it thinks is bootable then it will do exactly what you are describing.

Sorted the SD card issue, was using the reader but the SD card was not formatted to FAT 32!

Had or first trip over the wekend to 'fine tune' the art of Cally camping. Awning was fun! only downside was the small plastic hinge has broken at the back of the top bed. Seems this is not uncommon. All i was doing was removing the plastic from the new mattress! nothing was stuck behind the bed.

VW can't look at it for 4 weeks! and are querying it for the warranty. £75000 camper with a broken bit of plastic 15 mm long so now can't rasise the inner roof with out a fight to put it down.

Seen the threads so have ordered one, will defiantely be useing a bolt instead of the rivots when replacing the new one.
