MOT - That time of year.

VW couldn't do a Diagnostic as their computer system was down so I asked them to replace both rear ABS sensors. Carista said R rear sensor had gone and dashboard lit up with ABS, ESP and Tyre pressure fault.
I decided on replacing both rear sensors as it seems if 1 goes the 2nd will follow. The rear sensors get more crud thrown at them than the front ones and more likely to fail first.
Anyway, straightforward job NOT.
Both seized well and truly. Requiring significant dismantling of both rears to allow removal of old sensors, cleaning up , refitting and testing, road testing , and now all sorted. Apparently front sensors look very good and don't appear jammed.
Glad it didn't happen in Norway. Just booked ferry for 2024.
