Hi all I am looking for a VAG specialist to program my mirrors to fold on door lock, Birmingham area please

If you buy a Carista OBD2 dongle you can very easily do this yourself (along with various other configuration changes you fancy).

OK just ordered one and downloaded the app, lets hope the car starts after LOL
You can just use the trial period or there is an annual fee for online access.

Just a quick one as the California is not listed what are we using in the app ??

A quick tip for doing customisations with Carista. Open the bonnet with the engine running and then plug the dongle into the OBD port (under the dash on the drivers side). This will allow access to all available customisations. I found when I first got mine a couple of years ago that if I just plugged it in without opening the bonnet that I sometimes got a message in the app saying no customisations available.

Well that was easy all good with mirrors folding on single press, thanks for the help

If not already set the auto door locking at approx 5mph is useful for on road security.

Front and rear proximity sensor beep can also be set to different tones which helps knowing if front or rear is close to an object.

So I have also removed the keys left in ign alarm.. Any other interesting things to do ??

I seem to remember that I turned off the alarm sound when having doors open and ignition on to lower the roof, which you may have done in your last post. Think there is a Carista you tube video from Campervan Time on various tweaks that you can do.

Can Carista prevent the living area lights coming when the ignition is turned off? Or does anyone know if this can be done via the control panel. Whenever I park, I immediately enable Camping Mode. I'd rather not have to.

I set my brake lights to strobe when hard breaking. You can also set the hazards to flash when hard braking.

The good thing about camping mode is it stops the driving lights coming on when you open doors.
