Hi Again,

Today I went grab something out of the van , and was then standing by the engine when a buzzing noise started from the engine coming from just above front parking sensors.

Is this normal. I don‘t think I have heard it before. it stopped after a couple of minutes. I did take it for a quick spin to see if anything came up on the dashboard, but nothing came up.When I got out and locked the doors it’s was buzzing but again stopped after a few minutes. It’s Beach version no kitchen or anything like that.

Thanks in advance

Paolo

When ever I unlock the doors a buzzy whine starts under the bonnet no idea what it is. Key does not have to be in the ignition.

I think it's the fuel pump priming. When you unlock the car it thinks you're going to drive off and starts doing "stuff" (technical term).

Try unlocking the vehicle BUT do not open the Drivers door. Do you still hear the noise?

Same here - happens when locking and unlocking van and lasts for a few seconds - irrespective of whether doors have been opened or not. Van 4 weeks old. Not too fussed but will mention when I contact dealer about anything Else.

Yes I do. I have read on another site it’s related to the fuel pumps adjusting and levelling out.. but will ask at the dealer tomorrow as having bike rack fitted

I’d be interested to hear what they say. Pretty sure mine is not fuel pump sounds like it’s to do with locks/alarm setting?
