With the kids refusing to camp in the winter I’ve taken everything out and using the Cali as a combi. Has anyone any bright ideas for something semi-permanent to protect the insides from mud other that a loose tarpaulin?

How about an off cut of Lino (or similar) that you can cut so that it’s long enough to go up to fridge top to floor - across floor - floor to window base. If big enough include a piece from base of seat back to headrests as well.
I did this with carpet when taking stuff to the tip. It was all dry rubbish in the summer, but Lino would make it waterproof. Just a thought :)

Mats look great but more worried re units and wall materials. Lino is a good shout. Thanks!

Lino a good shout. Thanks.

Pet boot liners from Amazon. got one in ours and it lines the boot well.

i put me spesh levo inside a upside down outdoor ride on lawn mower cover about £25 off amazon that way all the mud sits inside , get home and just tip the debris out easier to put in that in the van than the bike rack and more secure

What size is that bike.? I have a large stumpy that I cannot get in the back of the beach with the seat forwards. Bike is over 2m long on 29s. Can just about get 3 bikes in the back with the seat with enough space for one rear seat passenger with front wheels off but it is tight. Looks good!

Would a car back seat dog cover work . Something like this from Amazon

It’s a medium levo SL. 29er And only just fits with the back wheel poked part through gap between seat and sliding door. Holds it well for faster trips to the hills! Much better than having it hanging out the back on the 4 bike tow bar carrier…….

Like this too. After last ride wasn’t sure what was bike and what was mud!

Great idea. Do you have a photo? Which size did you get?
It was the Alfheim waterproof. I then stuck it back with easy removable carpet gripper pads, not strong double sided tape that it comes with as I thought it might damage the fixtures. It doesn't fit exact but for 30 quid its a good option. It also comes out over the bumper to protect it when unloading or loading.

I use the same but the other way around so that the bungee holds the handlebars up against the back seat. Just place a dog matt between the rear wheel and the rear tall cupboard for protection

I have a full boot liner from these people:
Pretty decent. Looks like they list the Caravelle, so maybe phone them - they might do a bespoke version.
