Hi going to get a new reg I have a choice of two what one would you go for
Choice (1) DUB
Choice (2) CALI
What would you go for also I can have
Vw DUB
Vw CALI
IF I WANT TO HAVE VW IN THE REG

Some people like them, some don’t. Have DUB on mine.

In my mind DUB is associated with conversions

Just cast my vote Doboluverpool, Cali. My view is buy one if you want one, it’s your choice and never what the fun ‘Fun Police’ have to say. Enjoy it

Not sure how you can get though exact matches but I will say be careful - on the way back from Cornwall we saw the police pull over 2 Calis with plates where they had rearranged the letters to reduce the spaces and hide numbers and make words. We went for VW70 MAF - VW, obvs, 70, YOB, MAF - for Mafalda. We like it.

No, No, No.
A "DUB" is a VW Beetle.
A "BUZ" is an electric VW van.
VW Vans are known as a "BUS" in Europe and the US.
A Cali is a VW van.
Therefore a CALI is a "BUS" !

VW -- DUB Is not available.
VW -- CALI How do you get it ?

Your Avatar name is Doboliverpool.
How about DD60 BUS or DOO8 BUS.
Available from DVLA, £250. Cheap as chips!

With respect, non of those say Dobo.
Had a mate from the north west called Dobo, surname Dobson,
a real nice chap, vauxhall viva van. He was a grafter.

With respect, you're right. DVLA and all those rules and regulations. No altering the letter and number spacing. No black plastic bolt heads to help. I thought it would be better after we became a Sovereign Nation.

I could sell you a good plate as thinking off selling my Cali.

I have altered spacing on my plate it’s been like it for 10years plus never had a problem but all letter’s and numbers are standard.

You only need an awkward copper and you will get served with a notice. 14 days to Either change the plate to the correct spacing OR forfeit the plate. It happened to my wife. One space too much in the centre.

Shouldn’t pass an MOT….

I live in Norway so the are so many plates I can buy here it has not been for so long that you where able to buy them so the is a lot on the market right now

I will be switching my personalised plate from my current car to van when it eventually arrives, the plate is not VW or Van related, but means something to me.

Yes OK, a car, or a van is lump of metal and plastic, to get you from A to B. I appreciate how lucky we are to have, or to have had the freedom of the highways. Let's give our stallion a name, she or he deserves it. Silly as it is, a personalised number plate does that for me.
