I looked at several options from £80 black plastic to Brandrup film. In the end I got a cheap one off ebay. It works and looks ok.

I was going to go with some kind of film/sticker but was worried about the dogs scratching it. So went with the hard plastic.
If you go with the film, update this post with how it goes. I might be tempted to swap.

I put a heavy duty clear film on mine. No point adding a photo as you can’t see it.

I put the film on my rear bumper from the club shop. It was a massive PITA and will never do again. Think I’d have preferred yours.
