Hi,

I've seen other posts about the location of the warning triangle and first aid kit under the sink at the back.

However, in our 3 day old Cali Ocean I cant find them. Do they still come supplied with warning triangle and first aid kit..?

Mine came located in the drivers door. There is a recess specifically for the triangle in the drivers door pocket. Not in there?

Just been out to look, no triangle or first aid kit in the drivers or passenger doors. Nothing in the kitchen cupboards either.

Time to call the dealer.....

Also, I didn't see any emergency tie downs for the pop top, are those still supplied too..?

The first aid kit would be in a cylindrical red bag. About 8” long

My warning triangle was in the big pocket at the bottom of the drivers door - there's a gap it fits into. First Aid kit was on top of it.

The tie downs were in a big plastic bag with the upstairs child safety net thing. Just for reference, also got the cigarette lighter torch in a little silver carboard box, two clip in fly screens for the side windows wrapped in some plastic packing, the awning wind out handle in another bag, a big plastic bin thing in the drivers door pocket and a smaller one in one of the cupholders on the top of the dashboard.

Agree - difficult to see - took me a whole day checking every nook and cranny to find it ..

Was right at the back between the kitchen unit and the van side panel in mine. A more obscure point would be hard to find.
Viewed through the LH door.

Yeah my emergency tie downs were in my under bench drawer, along with the strap for attaching the table over the seats. Also had in there
- 2x fly screens but can’t remember if that’s an option I paid for or not
- little cigarette charging torch (think that was an option?)
- puncture repair kit (no spare wheel with my set up)

Could you please post a picture of this big plastic bin you mention? I don’t have one of those, just the smaller one. Many thanks

Just been to check again.

I can see the cut-out in the bottom door pocket where the triangle should be, but it’s not there. No first aid kit either.

We took out the safety net, so thought maybe the roof clips might have been wrapped up in there, but no such luck.

Did get the door bin, plastic lidded ash tray, rechargeable torch, flexible 12v led light, fly screens and safety net. Also tyre pump and goo.

Which dealer did you collect from ?

Liverpool…
They’re meant to be one of the good ones.
I’m sure if you ask they’ll send you it out.
Heritidge Bristol sent me emergency roof tie downs in the post when I found them missing.

Didn't get the flexible 12v light, thought they were only given with the Beaches and Coasts which didn't have the lights in the roof? Must have had a few left to get rid of! I've not looked at the pump and goo still, can see it's strapped to the side of the bench where the second draw would be.

Yes, they’ve been great so far with our collection day issue. I’m hopeful they’ll send out the missing parts.

Changed with the 6.1 from in the kitchen unit to the drivers door pocket. I guess it’s just more accessible if needed, can’t see why else it would be.

Tyre pump and goo fits nicely under the drivers seat; makes way for the obligatory chocks down the side of the under bench drawer.

First aid kit with warning triangle and safety vest is a £72 option in the configurator.
So if you didn’t choose it.
It dosent come with them.
Correct as of Sept 2022
The £72 option just gets you the safety vest over & above the first aid kit & triangle.

If you check the configurator as to what is supplied as standard it lists
"First aid kit with warning triangle "

Thanks :thumb
But wow VW, £72 for a high vis.
Naughty

There’s a few options like that, makes out you are getting more for your money than you really are.

Bed extension & comfort mat- it’s just the mat.

4 keys - it’s actually 2 extra

I thought this at first and did order the first aid kit, warning triangle and vest. I then learnt the Cali comes with the First Aid kit and triangle anyway, so £72 for the high vis, so cancelled. Very cheeky way to describe it in the configurator...!

4 Keys (or 2 extra) is great value. I needed a spare key for a RR Evoque and it was going to be £450, so managed to fix the broken one. So for £120 the two extra keys are great in my book...;-)

I agree about the comfort mattress, I should have deleted that from the order and gone straight to a Panda mattress.

I bought an AA triangle before driving to France. When we got back I found the one in the drivers door - that’s after 5 months of ownership :headbang:headbang:headbang

Does anyone have a picture of this mysterious warning triangle location?
