Anybody else getting a redirect to the VW App when trying to log in to We Connect?
Looking at the comments in the Apple App Store there seems to be a rolling programme of switching users to the VW App with subsequently some loss of functionality.
 
There’s another thread on here about this. The WeConnect app is no longer and the new VW app is lacking some of the features that were in WeConnect.
I suspect (hope) that in the coming weeks the new app will address the issues we’re currently having. Longer term it may even be an improvement?
 
I did look for other threads...honestly!

Odd thing is, I only got my van three weeks ago and signed up to We Connect a few days later, so was surprised to learn that this is an ongoing issue. It doesn't bode well for an early improvement to the latest offering.

Not very impressed with VWs online presence to be honest.

The new app is far too buggy to be useful yet. I’m sure different people are running different versions of their phone OS and might have a different experience but on an iPhone 13 Pro with the latest iOS running, and for both my California and my Tiguan, it crashes when you try to access driving data or see which packages you have.

The web based data is fine though, although it too lacks some of the data the weconnect app had.

Hopefully VW might address their shortcomings.
 
I was hoping that remote door lock/unlock would start working in the new app once the old was disabled, but of course it doesn't.

On a positive note, the navigation function displays the nearest petrol stations and lists a fantasy price so you can make an uninformed decision. German software engineering at its best!
