Just wanted to check something. I've been away in my new Cali Ocean a few times for simple overnighters and so far, everything has been perfect - but I noticed one thing and wanted to check it.

In my kitchen cupboards, the left hand side has a catch for the door to lock into when it is closed - but the right hand side cupboard doesn't have this. I am assuming the catch was forgotten during the build but can another 6.1 owner confirm that they have catches on both sides?

If it is indeed missing, is it just a case of contacting my nearest dealer and having them order the part?

I think mine has a catch on both sides @Swello . Will double check in a while when i got out to the van.

No catch on right hand cupboard, it uses the frame.

OK - so it's by design - thanks very much! Makes me wonder why it's made like that but good to know that I'm not missing something..

It is by design. In a Cali, you cannot accelerate so quickly to get the front door to slide back/open, but you can brake quickly enough when you realise ____ (fill in the blanks with - oh s&£t, forgot to unplug the power cable from the camping mains, oh s^&t, forgot to close the roof, oh s£$t, forgot to untie the dog from the towbar ... etc. etc. ).

Hence the need for the catch only on the rear shelf door.
