Hi all,

Just been to our local BBQ shop, that stocks these cylinders; the man said " these aren't currently available anywhere in the UK or Europe, the bottling plant in Lyon is down".
I'm enquiring whether any members have encountered a similar response, and if so, any intimations of when the overpriced stuff is likely to be around again?
I've got an 11kg bottle of propane, for our gas bbq which would be acceptable, but it's a big space taken up it's needed.

They are currently in stock at Chorley Gas

Have a look at this thread regarding refilling 907 cylinder

Strange, nothing on the Internet and Campingaz in Europe is as common as Calor is in the U.K.

In stock at a couple of Go Outdoors branches I visited last week. Also on the shelves at an Auchin in Dieppe. I did hear from an employee of Go Outdoors there that Campingaz had temporarily stopped supplying Go Outdoors because of the recent loss leader sales promo about buying a stove for £40 and getting a 907 bottle free. The offer was exhausting their supply chain.

Thanks everyone, don't where the chap got his information from, but it looks duff, going on your experiences!

Great offer, for those who managed to grab one. I sold the stove on for £25, so full 907 for £15.

That's nonsense, I got a 907 refill yesterday at Burnham Deepdale in N Norfolk, £37. They also had them at Highsand Creek, Stiffkey, but the woman there said get one from a Morrison's or Gulf petrol station instead, and save yourself £10.

Over the next few months there is going to be a big price increase on 904 & 907 cylinders, we are hearing from Campingaz the increase could be as much as 50% so now is a very good time to stock up if you can find one. Just for the record we are out of stock here too

Glad i’ve bought my electric hob for use when on EHU :)

Got about 10% left in the garage spare, so we’ll look to refill soon. We now cycle around 3 cylinders, with 2 in the van. Any suggestions around Derby / East Mids?

I have a spare one if you need an empty bottle £10 Based near NEC Brum

I’ve just heard a Goverment minister, in a response on this morning Politics show about possible blackouts in the UK this winter, say, “I’m sure that Christmas is safe” :talktothehand . Maybe I will get our nearly empty 907 refilled after all. Anyone got a turkey recipe for the Cali kitchen??
